Decorative Gazing Balls

Make beautiful Garden Art Balls using old bowling balls and marbles!

Keep your eyes open for old bowling balls at your local thrift store - they make wonderful garden gazing balls!!

I found two small (5 pin) bowling balls for less than $5.00 each. You also need some flat marbles (Dollarstore), spray paint (color should match the color of the marbles) and some clear (waterproof) silicone:

Step 1: spray paint the bowling balls and let them dry overnight

Step 2: glue the flat marbles with clear silicone onto the bowling balls - this step needs some PATIENCE, you pretty much do one half first, let it dry for a few hours or overnight and then finish the second half.

We placed the garden art balls around our pond last summer and they looked beautiful in the sunlight.
