Framed Magnetic Spice Board
If you are looking for a decorative and easy-to-use way to display your spices, this might be for you. This framed magnetic spice board does not only look great, it also comes in very handy if you cook a lot and like using many different spices in your recipes.

For this easy project you only need
1 x Picture frame (I went pretty big, it actually depends on how many spice tins you want to display)
1 x (magnetic) metal sheet (cut to size)
Magnetic spice tins (available at Walmart, Bulk Barn, IKEA etc.)
Black chalkboard spray paint
A french cleat picture hanger kit or two 1-hole D-Ring hangers and heavy duty steel picture hangers
A label maker (optional)

First step: Spray paint the metal sheet with black chalkboard paint (2-3 coats). Let it dry overnight.

Next step: Labeling the spice tins.

Last step: Replace glass in picture frame with painted metal sheet and put the backing board back in place. Depending on the size of your frame the overall weight might be heavy - keep that in mind before you secure the spice board to the wall.

I like rubbing in a little bit of white chalk to give the chalkboard a "used look"...
